AcuGraph 4 from Miridia Technology, Idaho, USA is a specialized digital technology used to identify the state of acupuncture meridian energies and help diagnose disease conditions based on TCM criteria.
Meridian Imaging goes back over 5 decades to Ryodoraku, a Japanese technique invented by Dr. Nakatani used for quantifying energies in the standard acupuncture meridians, thereby leading to better diagnostics and therapeutics.
The Ryodoraku theory uses very simple and concise diagnostic methods, yet it quickly and precisely shows all the meridians and collaterals of the whole body. It calculates all the ratios based on those 24 readings, including average body energy, an upper and lower body (hands and feet) energy ratio, a left and right side energy ratio, an internal and external (Yin and Yang) energy ratio, an autonomic nerve ratio, and the twelve meridian chart.
Based on the traditional Ryodoraku theory, diseases of organs will reflect on the surface of the body.
AcuGraph uses a state-of-the-art
digital meridian imaging system that not only helps in assessment
of the acupuncture meridian energies, but also gives a good amount
of information about the health of the associated organs, the
yin-yang balance in the body, status of the musculo-skeletal
systems and the mental status as well. Information gleaned from the
AcuGraph analysis can be veritably used to provide quality
treatment using acupuncture and other holistic therapies. The
technology also allows accurate follow-up of patient improvement as
the therapy progresses.
A P.I.E score or Personal Integrated
Energetics value can give the overall score of
all the meridians reflecting the overall health of the entire
energy system. A perfect score of 100 reflects
complete balance and unimpeded Qi energy. A lower score means that
there are imbalances that can be addressed by appropriate
therapies.
